Casmir A. Klimecki

Dad passed away on Thursday September 8, 2016 in his 87th year after a long illness. He was proud to be a US Army veteran, a long-time resident of North Babylon, and a former member of the North Babylon Volunteer Fire Department. Dad was a hard -working business owner and built a fine reputation as the owner of Cardinal Landscaping. We always had the most beautiful property of all the homes on our street. After retiring, Dad and Mom spent many years enjoying the country way of life living in the beautiful Catskills in Ashland, New York, where he would chop his own firewood, plow snow for himself and all the neighbors, and drove a bus for a nearby condominium community. After Mom passed, Dad spent his later years living in Charleston, South Carolina Dad is predeceased by his beloved wife Catherine. Dad is survived by his loving children Bruce, Karen, Janet, Andrew, Mark, and daughter-in-law Peggy and his adored grandchildren Jessica, Kerry, Ellen, Kevin and Toni Marie. Dad was a devoted family man who cherished spending time with his children, grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Dad will always be remembered for his easy going nature, his quick laugh, and that special twinkle in his eye whenever he gave a smile. He made fast friends with everyone he met, and will genuinely be missed by all who knew him. The world was a better place with dad in it.
