It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Charles Brato on 8/24/2024, just shy of 88 years old. Charlie, known to many, not just family members as “Uncle Charlie” was a beloved member of our family, cherished for his warmth, kindness, and generous spirit. Charlie proudly served in the U.S. Army, where he dedicated his time to protecting and serving his country.
Charlie is survived by his devoted sister, Carol Willms (Robert Sr. - predeceased), who stood by his side through all of life's joys and challenges. He also leaves behind loving nephews: Chris Willms, Robert Willms (Gemma), Thomas Willms (Rochelle), and Scott Willms (Kali); and dear nieces: Jeannine Willms and Cheryl Rossi.
Charlie was a great uncle of his great-nieces and great-nephews: Gianna Rossi, Leah Rossi, Madison Willms, Zach Willms, Jonathan Willms, Joseph Willms, and Erik Leach.
Charlie was predeceased by his beloved parents, Christian and Mamie Brato, whose memory he always held close to his heart.
Charlie's kindness and love will remain with us always. His presence in our lives was a gift, and he will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
