Edward J. Burke

Edward J. Burke, age 72, of Deer Park, NY and Davenport, Florida passed away on Thursday, February 3, 2022. Edward was born May 2, 1949. He was a generous, loving and caring person, adored by everyone who knew him. He had a passion for music as a songwriter, and was most fond of rock n' roll from the 60s to today; playing gigs as the bassist for the hometown act, No Request. Edward in his free time enjoyed painting and had a big place in his heart for all cats, but his cat Snickers was most dear to him.

Edward is survived by his dearest love, Joann Morell. His loving children Edward Jr. (Dawn) and Gina Vogler (Jerry Minio). Cherished grandpa to Michael, Jenna (James), Anthony and Gianna. Adored great-grandpa to Sophia and Antonio. Beloved brother to Barbara Delucia (Frank), Donald (Kim) and Cathy Orsini (Al).

Visitation will be held at Claude R. Boyd-Caratozzolo Funeral Home, 1785 Deer Park Avenue, Deer Park, NY 11729 on Friday, February 11, 2022 from 2:00 - 4:30 PM and 7:00 - 9:30 PM. A mass of Christian burial will be held at Ss. Cyril & Methodius R.C. Church at 11:15 AM on Saturday, February 12, 2022. Private cremation will follow.
