You’re not going to believe this - Anthony’s got a girlfriend for over a year. She’s great!!!!  Her name’s Gill. And Isabella’s got a fantastic boyfriend as well.  Bennett.  They’ve been dating six months. You would have really liked them:).
 And today, Anthony committed to Hofstra. For nursing. I believe it’s all because of you, Isabella and what he’s been through himself. He’s going to be terrific!! 
They both are doing so well in school. Anthony’s got 12 credits already.  Isabella’s taking a million AP courses over the next few yrs. She turns 16 next month. I know how much you wanted to be here for all of this.  You would be so proud of them.  I hope you’re proud of me.

Anthony graduates tomorrow. I know how much you wanted to make it for that. I remember you kept saying, "I'll make Anthony's graduation". I'm sorry that you're not here. I don't even know how to throw his party correctly without you. This really sucks Mom.

Mommy - I'm sorry to do this, but I'm really hurting. You are missing so much, and it kills me with each event. I had to "celebrate" Mother's Day without you. Which was absolutely ridiculous. Anthony's been running track. He's so fast; he comes in first almost every time!!  You would have loved to see him. And tonight is the first concert he is playing in without you. You would be so proud. He is so grown up. He looks so handsome and cares about his music. You have no idea how much I wish you were here. I love you.

Well it has been two months since you have been gone and it still does not get any better, or any easier. It has only been two months, but it seems like it has been years. It gets worse and worse everyday, and with everything that we used to do together. They say that life must go on, but how can it go on for me, since you were my life, from the day that I first saw you, until the last moment that I saw you. It seems that it will never get any better. You know that I loved you then and that I love you now, and that I will love you tomorrow. I will love you forever, even though we are apart. As the song says, I love you more today then yesterday, but not as much as tomorrow. And as our wedding song says, Only You can make this world seem bright. Again, I will love you forever, even though we are apart. I am trying to solve the puzzle of life, but that is going to be impossible, since one of the most important pieces is missing - you.

Two months. It's amazing - sometimes it seems like just yesterday, and sometimes it seems like ages ago. I love you so much.

Well it has now been a month. People are telling me that is gets easier as the time passes. I think, maybe they have not gone through losing a loved one, because I do not find that it is getting any easier, but that it is getting harder and harder each and every day. I find that I am missing you more and more every single day. There is not much that I do, because I really do not want to do anything without you. I still kiss you when I get up every morning, and kiss you again before I go to bed every night, like always, and that will never ever change.

I used your towel warmer for the first time today Mom. It was amazing, you were right. But it made me cry because I really wanted to be heating up your clothes and then laughing hysterically on your bed while getting you dressed. I miss you so much Mom. I love you.

Fran was deeply loved by everyone she met and would help anyone with anything.  She was tireless.

Fran was most generous with her time when we went shopping for Antoinette's wedding gown back in 2000.

Fran was a very happy person and just pleasant to be around.

Though we have never met, your grace and teachings show in the presence of your children. I've been privileged to work with Frankie for the past 8 years, throughout which I've considered him a role model, mentor, voice of reason, but more importantly a great friend.

I knew I loved you from the first day that I saw you. You were on the other side of the office, wearing a white man-tailored blouse, and a black mini skirt, and I told my friend "do you see that girl, I am going to get her to marry me", and the rest is history. We had 41 and a half years of a great marriage. Our wedding song was Only you by the Platters, and every time we heard that song, we would get up and dance. The day before you died, I played that song, and we danced our final dance. You always considered our children's spouses as our children. So we have four fantastic children and four fantastic grandchildren. I just hope that they will remember you and create a great life for themselves.
