Born and raised in Queens Village by her parents DeWitt and Ruth Booth with her 7 sisters and 4 brothers. She and the love of her life Louis McDonald raised 5 children. The passion and joy in her life was her 5 children, 9 grandchildren and 11 Great grandchildren. Joan was an amazing, kind, loving Mom, Nana, Great Nana, Sister, Aunt and friend. She will be missed and never forgotten by all who knew her.
