To the living, I am gone. To the sorrowful, I will never return. To the angry, I was cheated, but to the happy, I am at peace and to the faithful, I have never left. I cannot be seen, but I can be heard. So as you stand, upon a shore, gazing at a beautiful sea – remember me. As you look in awe at a mighty forest and its grand majesty - remember me. As you look upon a flower and admire its simplicity – remember me. Remember me in your heart, your thoughts, your memories of the times we loved, the times we cried, the times we fought, the times we laughed. For if you always think of me, I will never be gone.

That smile...always there
That laugh...music to our ears
That heart...always open and ready to give to others
Karen... Just thinking about you brings an uncontrollable smile to my face
You have made an imprint on my heart and I will carry your smile and your beautiful spirit with me wherever I go

Sending my condolences to the Hill Family and to Karen's children. Karen was a light who's smile brightened up any room. I looked up to her growing up as a beautiful person and will always have the fondest memories of her. Peace and prayers to all who loved her, gone too soon.

Karen was my 1st friend when our family moved to Long Island in the early 60's. We grew up playing in the woods surrounding our homes- riding our bikes all day during the summers. I ate many fine home-cooked meals in the Hill's kitchen, prepared by Terri (her mom). Many of us are lucky to have tasted wonderful shortbread! Karen & I remained in touch all these years and I smile today knowing Karen helped make my childhood a happy place. My thoughts are with Terri & Karen's siblings- Jim, Lynn and Rich. Love, Arian Kaufman (Venn)
