Lillian A. (Slezak) Nix, age 88, of Deer Park, NY, passed away peacefully on August 29, 2025, surrounded by her loving family.
Born on February 26, 1937, in New York City, Lillian dedicated her life to her family and community. She worked for many years as a school bus driver with the North Babylon School District, where she was known for her kindness, reliability, and devotion to the children she transported. After retirement, she relocated to Arizona before eventually returning to Deer Park.
Lillian was predeceased by her beloved husband, Joseph Nix. She is survived by her children: Joseph (Joanne), Michael, Christopher, and Susan. Her sister Cornelia(Slezak) Wissman. Her grandchildren: Olivia, Tyler, Harrison, and Preston (and their mother, Janet), as well as Brandon and Brianna; and two cherished great-grandchildren Cameron and Nicole.
