To the living, I am gone. To the sorrowful, I will never return. To the angry, I was cheated, but to the happy, I am at peace and to the faithful, I have never left. I cannot be seen, but I can be heard. So as you stand, upon a shore, gazing at a beautiful sea – remember me. As you look in awe at a mighty forest and its grand majesty - remember me. As you look upon a flower and admire its simplicity – remember me. Remember me in your heart, your thoughts, your memories of the times we loved, the times we cried, the times we fought, the times we laughed. For if you always think of me, I will never be gone.

Lorraine always showed her extraordinary quick wit and unmistakeable laugh.
We grew up together in the Bronx at Hillside Homes. Always at the playground , classmates forever. She was a friend to all. Rest In Peace

My dear friend Lorraine,
You meant so much to me in such a short period of time , ur positive attitude , your strength , your happiness and love for your family, you were so excited for all family members living the best life they could possibly live , i remember coming into ur room just to spend a little time and even picking ur name out if the whole buildings raffle and being so happy you won , i lost both my grandma's so early in life and u were such a blessing offering me you as a sort of substitute grandma when needed advice, i loved being silly and making u smile everyday , im so glad i got to hold ur hand before you left us even if it was only for a little while. Im going to miss you terribly my friend. Please watch over us all and guide us with ur light - love always - Rena (photo was taken by me but I no longer own rights to the photo I think, taken from Facebook page)
