To the living, I am gone. To the sorrowful, I will never return. To the angry, I was cheated, but to the happy, I am at peace and to the faithful, I have never left. I cannot be seen, but I can be heard. So as you stand, upon a shore, gazing at a beautiful sea – remember me. As you look in awe at a mighty forest and its grand majesty - remember me. As you look upon a flower and admire its simplicity – remember me. Remember me in your heart, your thoughts, your memories of the times we loved, the times we cried, the times we fought, the times we laughed. For if you always think of me, I will never be gone.

I want to send my condolences to Marie’s family. Although I have been living in South Carolina for 8 years now, my favorite memories of Long Island are the times I have spent with Marie, we worked together at Marion Veddar School, and developed a strong friendship, we would call each other the Golden Girls, my favorite memories of Marie we’re our ladies lunches at the diners , Marie, myself and Lois Popp. We shared everything together thru the years, the good times and the bad times,
Marie will always be in my thoughts and prayers, she was such a dear friend, kind, generous, giving , and this is what I hold in my heart when I think of her. I miss you Marie.
RIP my dear friend, I know you fly amongst the angels, because you have always been an angel on earth.

Such a happy lady. So great with kids. Marie helped me get started at
Marion G. Vedder Elementary! So grateful to her. 20 years of joy
and retired recently.
Marie also crossed my boys on Deer Park Avenue and kept them safe from harm and that’s how I met her! Thank you Marie!

Nannie Marie,

One of my favorite memories of you was when Papa Bob went on a Tiger Cruise with Rich for 3 days. When they pulled away, you turned to me and said, “I don’t know how you do it. “ At their return, the smile on your face and the love in your heart for Papa Bob was something truly beautiful to witness.

I will always remember how happy you made Papa Bob and how you loved Briana and Cassidy.

Your smile, laughter, and love of life will always be remembered in my heart.

With much love,
Bonnie
