Michael Peter Anselmo

Michael Peter Anselmo, age 49, of East Northport, New York passed away on Sunday, March 13, 2022. He was the quiet guy at the party, yet everyone found something in him that drew them to his goodness. He often made life look easy. He had an affinity for the outdoors, be it fishing, camping or taking in some garden therapy, which he inherited from his mother. He had a passion for fixing muscle cars and a dream came true when he attended his first Daytona race this year. At then end of the day, what meant most to him was his daughters, whom he would do anything for. They were his heart and soul.

Michael is survived by his loving wife, Marissa and beautiful daughters Maya and Makayla. Beloved son of Michael and the late Dorothy. Cherished brother to Peter (Karen) and Christine Zafonte (Dominic).

Visitation will be held Friday, March 18, 2022 from 2:00-4:30 PM and 7:00-9:30 PM at Claude R. Boyd-Caratozzolo Funeral Home, 1785 Deer Park Avenue, Deer Park, NY 11729. A mass of Christian burial will occur on Saturday, March 19, 2022 at 11:30 AM at St. Anthony of Padua R.C. Church, East Northport. A private cremation will follow.
