Pauline M. Sganga

Pauline lived a life of deep service, compassion, and quiet strength. As a Nun, a Nurse, and later a Vice President at a bank, she devoted herself to helping others in every season of her life, always guided by faith, integrity, and selflessness. In an extraordinary act of love and duty, she left religious life to care for her elderly mother, reflecting the same devotion and sacrifice that defined all she did. To her family, she was so much more than an Aunt—she was like a Grandmother to the children in her life, offering unconditional love, wisdom, and comfort. Pauline’s kindness and caring spirit touched everyone who knew her, and she consistently put the needs of others before her own. Her legacy is one of love, service, and generosity, and she will be deeply missed but forever remembered.

A visitation will be held at Boyd-Caratozzolo Funeral Home in RAINS CHAPEL on January 22, 2026, from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm.

The Mass of Christian Burial will take place at Ss Cyril & Methodius RC Church, located on Deer Park Ave, Deer Park, NY, on January 23, 2026, from 11:15 am to 12:00 pm.

The committal service will be held at St Charles Cemetery, 2015 Wellwood Ave, Farmingdale, NY, on January 23, 2026, from 12:30 pm to 1:00 pm.
