Rosemarie E. Dorsty

Beloved wife of Richard Dorsty. Rosemarie passed away peacefully after a long battle with cancer on May 28th . She was 66 years old.

Rosemarie was born in Brooklyn, NY and raised in West Hempstead and a long time resident of N. Babylon. She attended St Thomas the Apostle grammar school and graduated from Maria Regina High School, class of 1975.

Born on November 8th 1957, Rosemarie was a cherished mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, sister in law, aunt, and friend to many. Rosemarie touched the lives of countless individuals with her kindness, compassion, and unwavering love.

Rosemarie was known for her wit, love of life, trivia knowledge, cruise ship vacations, weekends in Atlantic City, and scratch off lotto cards.

She is survived by her husband Rick, daughter Allison Arbeiter (Will), grandsons Freddy, Harrison and Miles, son Richie, her Mother Elizabeth Kane, brother,William Kane, sisters Loretta Madelmayer (Glenn) and Kathleen Uremovich (Mike),

In laws, Ken Dorsty (Ruth) and Cindy Awan (Farhat) and many nieces and nephews.

She is predeceased by her beloved father Joseph P. Kane.

All find solace in the countless memories and moments shared with her. Her presence brought warmth and joy to all who had the privilege of knowing her.
