Thomas J. Comparetta

Thomas J. Comparetta, age 95, of Bay Shore, New York passed away on Sunday, January 23, 2022. Proud veteran of the United States Army and aerial gunner in World War II. He spent his private time reading mystery and detective novels and watching cooking shows. He was known for his original and delicious dishes he prepared for friends and family. Thomas loved nothing more than his grandkids who spent Friday nights at their grandparents house, watching cartoons and enjoying ice cream sundaes and homemade bagel chips. Thomas is predeceased by his beloved wife, Rosaria and survived by his loving children Christopher (Sharon), Michele Dunne and Thomas. Cherished grandfather to seven grandchildren and six great-grandkids. A visitation for Thomas will be held Sunday, January 30, 2022 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM and 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Claude R. Boyd/Caratozzolo Funeral Home, 1785 Deer Park Ave, Deer Park, New York 11729. A funeral mass will occur Monday, January 31, 2022 at St. Patrick's R.C. Church, 9 Clinton Ave, Bay Shore, NY 11706.
