

Virginia is survived by her three girls Laura, Carla (Steve) and Paulette (Carter), grandchildren Joseph (Kasey), Vincent, Steven (Meaghan), Nicholas and Ashley, great grandsons Maverick and Jackson, sister Gloria (Tony), all her nieces, nephews and beloved Buddy Girl.
Visitation services will be held at Boyd Caratozzolo Funeral Home in Deer Park, NY on Monday November 3rd from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM. A Mass will be celebrated in Virginia’s honor at Saint Cyril and Methodius R.C Church in Deer Park, NY on Tiesday November 4th commencing at 10:15 AM.
Virginia was born on the third of November 1939 to Philip and Leonilda “Mildred” Scigliano. She grew up in Jamaica, New York with her sister Gloria.
Virginia resided in Deer Park since 1960, where she raised her three girls. She worked at Pyramid Air Conditioning, Inc. for 45 years before retiring due to COVID. She enjoyed spending time with family, gardening, sitting on her porch with Buddy Girl, reading, cooking, traveling and shopping.
Virginia was truly loved by everyone. She leaves a legacy of kindness, generosity and cherished memories to all who knew her, which shall guide her family and friends as they face the days ahead.
May the road rise to meet you. May the wind always be at your back. May the sun shine warm upon your face. May the rains fall soft upon your fields. And until we meet again, may God hold you in the palm of His hand.
Visitation services will be held at Claude R. Boyd/Caratozzolo Funeral Home in the Towne Chapel on November 3, 2025, from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm and again from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm.
A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on November 4, 2025, at Ss. Cyril and Methodius Roman Catholic Church, located at 1750 Deer Park Ave, Deer Park, NY 11729, from 10:15 am to 11:00 am.
Interment will follow at Commack Cemetery, Inc., situated at 450 Town Line Rd, Commack, NY 11725, from 11:30 am to 12:00 pm.
