A successful entrepreneur, Bobby began his journey on a shoestring and a prayer. He built a business to be proud of while developing relationships and friendships that he so valued along the way. All who knew Bobby were aware of his greatest attribute, his willingness to help others. Not always done in a most conventional way, Bobby went over and above the norm to help the underdog. He dreamed of a world where happiness was everywhere and he did his part to make that happen. He gave others Opportunities to find their way, fed the hungry, rescued, and adopted dogs and wished he could one day build a hospital for children. He didn’t know the word “NO.” He was a gentle soul. His kindness touched and changed the hearts and lives of many. His generosity and loyalty were a huge part of who he was. We mourn his passing on September 9th, 2021 at age 67, a life cut too short.

He leaves behind his beloved wife, Diane. His cherished sons, Robert and Thomas who he referred to as his “angels”. His pride and love for them was unbridled. His yapping pups, three of them, are a testament of his love and passion for animals.

He was also survived by his loving sister and brother MaryEllen Gannon and Greg Orr. He referred to himself as “ Mean Uncle Bobby,” to his surviving nieces and nephews, whom he adored: Emily Gannon, Brie Cafferty, Samantha Herrick, Jackie Orr and Gregory John Orr. Of course, all who knew him, knew there was not a mean bone in his body.

Bobby’s mischievous nature and lust for life was contagious. His silly smirk and beautiful smile will be remembered in our hearts forever. His hearty laugh and funny stories made for happy memories. He overcame many obstacles as life is never easy, today his life ended but his legacy begins. We will grieve his loss but remember always this beautiful man. Your love will last forever and we take comfort in the company you will have in heaven! Rest In Peace knowing that you are loved.

To Bobby’s family - my deepest sympathies in the tremendous loss all around - of your husband, your father, your brother, your uncle and great uncle, your cousin, and friends considered family. He meant so much to so many.

Bobby was funny, smart, and I enjoyed his booming voice. I have heard stories of his kindness and generosity from many. I know he will be sorely missed at Lighthouse List.

My thoughts and prayers are with Bobby's family and loved ones. May you find peace in your sweet memories of him. The pictures speak for themselves about how much he loved and was loved.

God bless.
