Edwin O. Coggin, 80, of Nahunta, Georgia, passed away with his family by his side on November 29, 2014. He was born in Fort Benning, Georgia. Edwin was a retired Battalion Chief with the City of Deerfield Beach Fire Department. He enjoyed fishing, scuba diving and hunting.
Edwin is survived by his children Cynthia Lukas (Mike), David Coggin (Paula), Edwin Coggin II (Brenda), grandchildren Jason Lukas (Ashley), Genevieve Coggin, Eric Coggin, and 3 great grandchildren. He is also survived by his former wives, Marianne Fowler Coggin, and Joan Wardle (the mother of his children).
Edwin was predeceased by his daughter Carolyn Coggin.
A Graveside service will be held Dec.13th, 11:00 AM at Boca Raton Cemetery. A Remembrance of Life gathering with occur immediately after at Kraeer-Becker Funeral Home, 217 E. Hillsobor Blvd. Deerfield Beach, FL.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations be made in Edwin's memory to Hospice of Golden Isles, 1692 Glynko Parkway, Brunswick, GA, 31525, or a charity of your choosing.
