

Marilyn was born in Queens, NY on October 14, 1932. She married Frank V. D’Amato in 1953 and worked as an executive assistant / secretary in New York and Florida where the family moved in 1968. She loved her Catholic faith and was a member of St. Ambrose Catholic Church in Deerfield Beach. Three years after the death of her husband Frank she married Anthony Pellitteri in 1983. This July 1, 2023 would have marked their 40th wedding anniversary. She retired from Deerfield Beach Middle School and the two settled into retirement in Deerfield Beach dedicating themselves to family and enjoying many memorable vacations.
Marilyn is predeceased by her first husband Frank, daughter Linda Dorencz, and son Jerry D’Amato. She is survived by her husband Tony, sister Carol, 5 children,16 grandchildren, and one great granddaughter.
A visitation for Marilyn will be held Thursday, June 15, 2023 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Kraeer-Becker Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 217 E Hillsboro Blvd, Deerfield Beach, FL 33441. A funeral service will occur Friday, June 16, 2023 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church, 370 SW 3rd St, Boca Raton, FL 33432. A committal service will occur Friday, June 16, 2023 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at Deerfield Beach Cemetery, 380 NE 6th Avenue, Deerfield Beach, FL 33441.
