Lt. Col. Martin Cohen

Lt. Col. Cohen was a Past President of Temple Beth Israel, and a member of Jewish War Veterans, and B’nai B’rith.

He was a decorated WWII Veteran who flew 95 missions as a jet fighter pilot and was awarded 3 bronze service stars and 3 oak leaf clusters. Lt. Col. Cohen also served in Korea and Vietnam and retired from the United States Air Force as a Lieutenant Colonel.

Lt. Col. Cohen is survived by his beloved wife of 69 years, Dorothy Cohen; his devoted daughter, Rhonda Iris Cohen, and her husband, Eric Stricoff; and his cherished grandson, Jacob Thomas Stricoff; and sisters, Ethel Gitlitz and Polly Perlmutter.

Funeral Service will be Thurs, Feb 11 at 11am at Forest Lawn North Memorial Gardens Chapel, 200 W Copans Rd, Pompano Beach. Military Honors will be rendered.
