Myriam Rosario Pastirak, a beloved and cherished woman, passed away on June 20, 2025, at the age of 70. Born on August 4, 1954, in Bogotá, Colombia, she was the daughter of Alonso Garces and Maria Del Rosario Martinez. Myriam was a kind-hearted and resilient woman who touched the lives of many.
A resident of Coconut Creek, Florida, Myriam was a devoted homemaker. Her life was enriched by her family, including her loving spouse, Leslie Pastirak, and her son, Ivan Pastirak. She is also survived by her brother, Oscar, and her sisters, Amparo, Patricia, Sonia, and Pilar.
Myriam's personal interests and hobbies reflected her vibrant spirit. She was an early riser who enjoyed breakfast and going to the gym. Volunteering at Food for the Poor was one of her passions, and she loved her son and husband more than life itself. Myriam was fond of talking on the phone with friends, traveling the world, and spending time at the beach. Fishing on the Juno Beach Pier was a favorite pastime, and she had a deep love for food and cooking. Her Colombian family held a special place in her heart, and she cherished her coffee.
To honor her wishes a cremation will occur, followed by a private Celebration of Life Ceremony.
