Geri was a social, active woman who was deeply involved in her children all her life. She enjoyed her dogs, most recently, Miya, apple pie, cleaning and of course her grandchildren.
Her family and friends will always remember her as a kind and caring people person. Geri worked hard all her life trying to raise her two children to the best of her ability to keep them safe and well provider for. She always put her children’s needs before her own. She loved talking to anybody that would listen. And she always complimented them on anything. She was incredibly kind and caring and the most selfless person one could imagine. She made friends wherever she went. She was cute, adorable and funny. She was always well put together, her outfits had to match. She could turn any outfit to look fabulous on her small frame. She loved to sing, act, and push food on to people, even if it meant not eating herself. Her family meant the world to her and she worried constantly about each and every one of them, especially her son and daughter. She recently became a great grandmother to Jackson Arthur Zitt, who was her pride and joy. She was able to see her grandson Paul get married on June 1. She had a wonderful time at the wedding and danced through the night. She stayed active until her last day, She actually walked her dog a mere 30 minutes prior to experiencing a massive stroke that ended her life. She passed quickly and painlessly with all of her family present.
