Robert (Bob) Courant, 89, of Deerfield Beach passed away January 13th, 2014. Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 65 years Patricia (Pat), his daughters Caryn Swiatek (Michael), Gail Schmidt and Alison, sons Gary (Betsy) and Scott (Alison), 6 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. Bob was a WWII Navy veteran of the Pacific Theater and a member of the USS LCI National Landing Craft Assoc. An active realtor in Broward County for over 40 years he held many board positions, having served as local president and district vice president. He was a member of the Masonic Order and the American Legion.
A Celebration of Bob's Life will be held Tuesday, January 21st from 5:30 to 8:00 pm at the Deer Creek Country Club, 2801 Deer Creek Country Club Road., Deerfield Beach, FL 33442.
