Dr. Steven August Edson Sr.

Dr. Steven August Edson was born in Chicago, Illinois to Wallace Edson and Brenda Ericson on August 17, 1971. He went to school at Carl Schurz High school and after graduation, he went to join the Navy. He was Honorably discharged from the Navy in 1992. After his naval journey, he moved to Georgia and enrolled in college at the age of 23. He went on to graduate from Life University in August 2002 with a bachelor’s in nutrition and a Doctorate in Chiropractic. He married Ana Paula Oliveira on September 16, 2002, at Cobb County Courthouse in Georgia. They had two children, a daughter and a son, while living in Chicago and a year after his son was born, he moved from Chicago to South Florida. Dr. Steven Edson opened his own Chiropractic office and closed it after 8 years. Later in 2017 he attended Broward College and obtained his Paralegal Degree. Although he wasn’t involved in any clubs or groups, he helped many people start their own business including, but not limited to, Rose Home Care and L4U.

Dr. Steven Edson is preceded in death by His uncles: Eddie Lamar Edson and Harmon Henry Edson; His father: Wallace Junior Edson, and his Neice: Amanda Edson.

Dr. Steven August Edson is survived by his Partner and Intended Wife: Rosemarie Fraser; His son: Steven Robert Edson; His daughter: Natalia Sophia Edson; His older brothers: Frank Edson, Wallace Edson, and EddieRoy Edson; His cousins: Buddy Edson, Malcom Edson, Jody Edson, Debi Siems-Chapels, and Ellen Herring; His sisters in law: Cindy Edson and Johniah Edson; His Nieces: Hope Short and Heather Myer; His Nephew: Sean-Roy Edson; His Grandniece: Loara-Lee Edson; His Grandnephews: Ezekial Myers, Brody Short, and Jon Luke Edson; and his Best friends: Brian Rodriguez, Dave Buchthal, Ray Kirkpatrick, Allan Rose, Dennis Spoonhour and Phillip Holt Jr.

Viewing will be from 12:00 pm to 3pm on Sunday 2/8/26 at Kraeer-Becker Funeral Home.

Funeral services and Burial will be held at 9:30 AM, Tuesday 2/10/26 at South Florida National Cemetery with all military honors. Arrangements are by Kraeer Funeral Home and Services.
