Born in Grand Rapids, Michigan, Zach carried with him a quiet curiosity about the world and a deep appreciation for beauty in all its forms. A graduate of Florida Atlantic University, he moved through life thoughtfully, drawn to books, art, film, and music. He found joy in pinball, comfort in the presence of animals, and laughter in the small, unexpected moments that make life human.
Zach had a gentle soul and a creative mind. He listened deeply, loved sincerely, and brought warmth and humor to those fortunate enough to know him. His laughter, kindness, and steady presence will be profoundly missed.
He is survived by his mother Rose, his father David, his siblings Kristen and Brad, and his partner Cheryl.
A wake will be held Tuesday December 16th, from 5-9PM at Kraeer-Becker Funeral Home in Deerfield Beach. A funeral service will follow on Wednesday at 11:30AM at Kraeer-Becker Funeral Home in Deerfield Beach, with burial at 1:00PM at Our Lady Queen of Heaven Cemetery in North Lauderdale.
Though his time here was far too short, Zach’s presence was meaningful, and his spirit will live on in the stories, laughter, and love he leaves behind.
