Adrian was a skilled handyman, he could and would fix anything. He was fortunate enough to turn his hobbies into his occupation. When Adrian wasn’t working, he enjoyed fishing, riding his tractor, and helping people. Adrian was always someone you could turn to. He was kind, caring, compassionate, and loving. Many people looked up to Adrian and many called him “Dad”, even if he wasn’t. Adrian overcame all of life obstacles, good and bad, so he would never hesitate to take in people who needed a little extra help. Even when he was pulled in many different directions, Adrian always made time for family, especially when his daughter graduated college.
Adrian married the love of his life, Tammy, on July 3, 1982 and he considers their 40 wonderful years together to be his greatest achievement. Together they built a loving home for the kids and all of their friends.
Adrian was loved dearly by all who knew him. He will be missed greatly.
Adrian is survived by his wife, Tammy, of the home; children, Tally Hunter and spouse, Ben and Chanel Lopez and spouse Ryan, both of Oklahoma City; sister, Ann Ellis and spouse Tom of McComb, Carolyn Lohr and spouse Dennis of Broken Arrow, and Janice Carpenter of Oklahoma City. He is also survived by 2 grandchildren, 11 nieces, and 10 nephews. Adrian is preceded in death by his parents, Virgil and Frances Carpenter and sister, Shirley Kyle.
