

Alberta Jean (Chastain) Reeves, 75, died peacefully Tuesday, November 15, 2016, at home surrounded by her loved ones. The daughter of James Milburn and Flossie Maggie (McIntyre) Chastain was born February 22, 1941, in Cogar, Oklahoma.
Alberta married Richard E. Reeves and their love endured for over 48 years.
Alberta worked as a real estate agent in the Missouri and the Oklahoma area for 25 years. She was a faithful member of Sarah Road Baptist Church, and Mustang Senior Center. She enjoyed yard sales, real estate auctions, and attending shows and attractions at Branson, Missouri. Alberta also was an avid card player, especially Texas hold'em poker, and “hand and foot”.
Above all, family is what Alberta cherished the most in life. She will be remembered for her fierce love, outgoing personality, and her wonderful sense of humor.
Alberta is survived by her husband, Richard E. Reeves; four children and their spouses, Debbie Marie & Nick Garcia, Debra Jean & Bobby Lewis, Steven & Mary Hollingsworth, Linda & Glen Haley; two sisters, Thelma Parton, Patsy Temple; 14 grandchildren, 32 great grandchildren, 3 great-great grandchildren, and a host of relatives and friends
