Alvin Lewis Wynn

Alvin Louis Wynn was born September 4, 1943 in Sulphur, Oklahoma. He proudly served his country in the United States Army and Naval branches. He retired from Tinker AFB after 32 years of civil service. He is survived by four living children: Prestina Alvarez and her husband Guillermo, Doug Wynn and his wife Valerie, Nichole Story and her husband Jimmie, and Aaron Wynn. Alvin was known as “papa” to nine grandchildren, and great grandfather of six. He was preceded in death by his wife Connie Wynn and daughter, Amanda Wynn. Alvin loved tinkering on just about anything, watching old westerns, and talking about John Wayne. His caregivers fondly remember him for learning about who the “The Duke” was. He rarely missed his regular tv show favorites, Gunsmoke or Rawhide and knew the history of each cast member. Dad, You will be greatly missed and thought of daily. Until we see you again in heaven.

A graveside service for Alvin will be held Friday, December 15, 2023 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Sunny Lane Funeral Home & Cemetery, 4000 SE 29th St, Del City, OK 73115.
