Ellie loved her church and her family. She had a passion for sewing and quilting and could often be found making costumes for pageants and church plays. Ellie also taught Sunday school, VBS, sang in the choir, and cooked meals for various church events.
She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Tommy Lykins; siblings, Mary Sellman, Thomas, Bud, Paul, Bill, Jim and Frank Lewis. Survivors include her loving husband of 42 years, Alfred; children, Mark Lykins, Scott Lykins (Jeneena Palms), Emily Tucker; grandchildren, Patrick, Tyler, Kyle, Jessica, Lacie, Brittanie, and Austin Lykins, Tanner and Kayla Tucker; great-grandson, Kaisen Ekman; sisters, Lydia Moore (Earl), Jean Hajjar (Tony); and her shih tzu’s, Oscar and Daisy.
A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday at the Country Estates Baptist Church. Interment will be held at 2:00 p.m. in the Fort Sill National Cemetery. Condolences may be offered at www.eisenhourfuneral.com
