

Barbara attended Lincoln High School in Evansville, In. and pursued her education at various institutions including Tennessee, ANI, Central State of Ohio, ultimately graduating from Rose State College in Midwest City, Oklahoma.
After marrying Allen Crawford, Barbara traveled extensively, enjoying the beauty of the world before settling in Oklahoma City, where she dedicated herself to serving and maintaining a loving home as a beloved wife while raising her three children. She served the state of Oklahoma, retiring from the Oklahoma Employment Security Commission after many years of faithful service and became a member of Roses (retiree organization of state employment security)
A passionate reader and writer, Barbara was also a long-time member of St. John Missionary Baptist Church. She actively participated in church activities, serving in the Food Bank, the Deaconess’s group, her Sunday school class, working with the women’s mission, very proud, and engaging in public speaking events alongside her daughter, DeBorah. She enjoyed participating with her Pequino group the St. John’s VIP and “no name book club “. Above all, Barbara found her greatest joy in serving the Lord, being a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, as well as a devoted member of her community.
Barbara is survived by her daughters, Mary Triplet, DeBorah Parrish-Boneta, and son Allen W. Crawford (Anita); grandchildren, Tamara Triplet, Paris Triplet, Theodore Parrish, Brittany Boneta, Courtney Boneta, Christopher Boneta, LaDonna Spore, Jalen Crawford, and Kielynn Crawford; great-grandchildren, Makai Triplet, Makaio Tran, Touti Tran, and Paris Triplet III. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and other beloved family members and friends.
Barbara is preceded in death by her father, William Grinter; mother, Mary L. Grinter-Bridges; brother, Jerry Grinter; husband, Allen Crawford; and grandson, Dekharai Parrish-Boneta

A visitation for Barbara will be held Friday, May 9, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Bill Eisenhour Funeral Home At Sunny Lane Cemetery, 4000 SE 29th Street, Del City, OK 73115. A funeral service will occur Saturday, May 10, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Saint John Missionary Baptist Church, 5700 N Kelley Ave, Oklahoma City, OK 73111, committal will follow at Sunny Lane Cemetery.
