

Betty enjoyed the years spent working at the Old Paris Flea Market, meeting, greeting and making life-long friends. Betty Lou married George Cleveland Gammon on June 2, 1951. She loved decorating her home and collecting crosses, watching the Atlanta Braves, reading and spending time with her beloved family.
She was preceded in death by her parents; loving husband of 63 years, George; and granddaughter, Anne Michelle “Shelley” Scott. Survivors include her three children, George R Gammon and wife, Linda, Greg Gammon and wife, Carol, Bill Gammon; twelve grandchildren, Jason Gammon, Angela Gammon, Jeremy Gammon, Kevin Gammon and wife, Toya, Ryan Gammon and wife, Shay, Kristi Parker and husband, Geoff, Stephen Gammon, Chrissy Boydstun and husband, Brian, Jennifer Bost and husband, Brian, Robert Gammon and wife Hannah, Heather Deshazer and husband Mitch, and Dustin Gammon; eleven great-grandchildren Embree, Hogan, Breck, Jastin, Colyn, Jazmine, Sebastian, Tyler, Jasper, Xander and Xavier.
A funeral service will be at held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, February 1, 2017 at the Bill Eisenhour Southeast Chapel. Interment will follow at Arlington Memory Gardens.
