

Billie Louella (Wooley) Hunter was born on January 1, 1933 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Clyde and Agnes (Groseclose) Wooley. She graduated in 1950 from Capitol Hill high school. Billie spent many years working as an administrative assistant until she retired from Oklahoma County and Ross Transportation.
Billie was a member of Mayridge Baptist Church for over 30 years where she served by working in the nursery. At one point, she even worked on various political campaigns. She enjoyed traveling and sewing but she loved spending quality time with family and friends. You could often find her cheering on her grandchildren and great grandchildren at their sporting events. Many would describe Billie as the sweetest, caring and most giving person.
Her parents, Clyde and Agnes, husband Jesse Hunter of 51 years, a son Zonnie Hunter, brothers; Neil Wooley, Price Stratford, Eugene Wooley and Darrell Wooley and sisters; Bobbie Wooley and Gaynell Hobbs precede her in death.
Her memory will continue to be cherished by her daughters; Pat Brown and Vicki Scott and husband Michael; her brother Cleophas Wooley, 8 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, 6 great great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews and her longtime friend Joyce Lawson.
