Bill Brown passed away July 12, 2021 at the age of 87 surrounded by his family. He passed away eleven days after his loving wife of 68 years. Bill was born on November 30, 1933 to parents Clifford and Zola Brown. He married Betsy Brown on February 28, 1953. They had 3 children together, Tommy, Jimmy, and Sheri. Bill worked for Southwest electric from 1953-1990, and Marathon Electric from 1990-2017 where he retired at the age of 83. He loved OU football and was a season ticket holder for 43 years. Bill enjoyed so many things in his life, hunting, fishing, camping, bluegrass music, all food, sports, but most of all he loved his family. He enjoyed visiting with them on Sunday’s and calling them on the phone just to check on them. He was hard working and selfless. His personality was one of a kind, always making people laugh or singing a tune. Bill is survived by his daughter Sheri Belusko and husband Greg, brother JW Brown and wife Jo, daughter in law Kim Brown, grandchildren Jon Johnson and wife Sharon, Andrea Wellman and husband Jeff, Wesley Belusko, Jamie Roberts and husband Jake, and three great-grandchildren Blake, Abigail, and Jolie. He is preceded in death by his parents, wife Betsy, two sons Tommy and Jimmy, and siblings Harlon, Darrel, and Arlene. Our lives will never be the same, but we can rest easy knowing that he is with his bride again. The family asks that you wear your OU attire or colors.
