Billy Wayne Stevenson was born April 5, 1942, in Webbers Falls, Oklahoma. He was son of Gladys Hall Stevenson and Hebert Stevenson. He was a father to three children Ronald Wayne, Michael Ray, and Shellie Lynn. Married to Connie Stevenson October 13, 1984, help raise three stepdaughters Stacey Jo, Kristi Lea, and Tammy Ellen. He never made a distinction as he only stated that he had six kids. Although it seemed difficult to say how much he loved them all, he always tried to be supportive and caring by his actions. After his retirement from the United States Air Force in 1981 he worked as a motel manager, glass delivery truck driver, maintenance supervisor at apartment duplex, a nursing home, and rental houses, along with heating and air conditioning. He was always known for being dedicated to doing a good job, most of the time he carried himself with confidence, and always with that smirky little smile. Asked many times by co-workers what he had been up to his reply “just high on life” was standard. He is survived by his wife Connie Stevenson, brother Vernon Ray Stevenson, wife Doris Stevenson, six children Ron Stevenson, wife Debbie Stevenson, Michael Stevenson, wife Karen Stevenson, Shellie Rolewicz and husband John Rolewicz, Stacey Baker and husband Brandon Baker, Kristi Parton and husband Kevin Parton, Tammy Briggs and husband Travis Briggs. 15 grandchildren and 7 great- grandchildren, many aunts, uncles and cousins.
