

Born on November 25, 1953, in Wewoka, Oklahoma, Bobby was the son of Leroy Fowler and Colleen Fowler (née Loman). He graduated from Del City High School and later earned a nursing degree from the University of Oklahoma.
Bobby dedicated over 36 years of his life to healthcare, serving as a surgical nurse and RN First Assistant at various hospitals and surgery centers throughout Oklahoma City.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 36 years, Teresa McCurdy Fowler, and his father, Leroy Fowler.
He is survived by his wife, Vicki Duncan; his mother, Colleen Fowler; his brother, Richard Fowler; his sons, Jacob Fowler and Collin Fowler; his daughters-in-law, Alee Fowler and Amy Fowler; and his cherished grandchildren: Jackson, Sam, Reagan, Cooper, Remy, and Luna Fowler. He was also a beloved “Uncle Bobby” to many nieces and nephews.
A passionate sports enthusiast, Bobby was an avid skier and a founding member of the world-famous Billy Ray Ski Team. He was a dedicated cyclist, participating in the Hotter’N Hell bike race for many years. He also played and coached soccer and was a devoted fan of Manchester United FC. During high school, he played football and wrestled for Del City High School and remained a loyal OU football fan throughout his life.
Bobby had a deep love for the outdoors and found joy in camping and hiking with his family and friends. He took great pride in gardening, nurturing growth, and had a talent for constructing and building beautiful creations on his property.
He was also a devoted music lover, attending countless concerts and live performances over the years. His favorite genres included rock ‘n’ roll, blues, and R&B.
A memorial service will be held at Bill Eisenhour Funeral Home at Sunny Lane Cemetery on Thursday, May 15th at 2:00 p.m., with a reception to follow.
In lieu of flowers the family asks for donations to be made to the Friends of the Wichita’s.
