

Bobby Haynes, 59, of Oklahoma City, passed away September 7, 2017 in Oklahoma. He was born August 29, 1958 in Joplin, Missouri and had lived in the Oklahoma City area most of his life. He was a 1976 graduate of SE High School and was employed by Eskridge Auto. Bobby was an avid fisherman and held the state record at Draper Lake for Catfish. He also enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Leon Chambers; brother, Michael Haynes; niece, Michele Evans; grandmother Violet Powers; uncle, Don Broughton and his faithful companion, “Little Man”. Bobby is survived by his mother, Norma Chambers of Oklahoma City; brother, David Haynes of Oklahoma City; sister, Pattie Atteberry of Oklahoma City; aunt, Lora Broughton of Geronimo, Oklahoma; sister-in-law, Polly Haynes of Oklahoma City; nieces and nephews, Bradley Allen, Craig Allen, Justin Haynes; several great nieces, nephews and cousins. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Dr. Craig Engles and Dr. George Madden and neighbors Mr. & Mrs. Billy Stewart. Visitation will be held Wednesday, September 13, 2017 from 6pm to 8pm at Sunny Lane Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Thursday, September 14, 2017 at 10am at the chapel of Sunny Lane Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Sunny Lane Cemetery.
