Bobby Joe Rogers

Bobby Joe Rogers, 77, of Newalla, was born April 13, 1940 in Casa Grand, Arizona, the son of Joe and Zella (Weston) Rogers. He passed from this life February 19, 2018 in Del City, Oklahoma. Bobby worked as a Press Operator and retired from Lucent Technologies after 38 and a half years service. He and Ethel Morrison were married on December 23, 1989 in Oklahoma City. Bobby enjoyed tinkering. He could take anything apart and put it back together. He loved spending time with his family and he loved the Lord. He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Dorothy, Delores and Velores; brother, David and a niece, Eva Walker. Bobby is survived by his loving wife Ethel Rogers of Newalla; daughters and sons-in-law, Sabrina Rogers Gaston and husband Melvin also of Newalla and Sandra Rogers Walker and husband Tommy of Midwest City; grandchildren, Clifford Rogers, Sr., Amy Moomey and husband Tim, John Craig and wife Danielle, Melissa Walker, Shannon Walker Releford; great-grandchildren, Clifford Rogers, Jr., Christopher Craig, Destiny Moomey, Tiara Moomey, JaLissa Lee, Alexa Rogers, Danielle Walker, Raiden Fite, Fay Lora Fite, Jezzebella Craig and Zaderius Reinheart; brother, Jacky Rogers of Bradleyville, Missouri. Visitation will be held Wednesday, February 21, 2018 from 12 noon until 8 pm. Funeral services will be held Thursday, February 22, 2018 at 2pm at the Chapel of Bill Eisenhour Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Dale Cemetery.
