Bonnie Jean Shephard, age 94, of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma passed away on Sunday, January 8, 2023.
She was married to Kenneth Hughes. After he passed, she married Howard Shephard (deceased). She had one child, Kenneth Don Wayne Hughes; passed away as a toddler.
Bonnie was a straight A student and never missed a day of school ever. She worked at Woolworths and later made a career and retired from Bank of Boston. She was an excellent seamstress and cook.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her sisters, Violet Noreen, Esther Mae, and June Marie. Her brothers, Virgil Alonzo, Joseph Wayne, and Charles Ray.
She is survived by her sister Barbara Darlene Mellinger, and several Nephews and Nieces.
A viewing for Bonnie will be held Thursday, January 12, 2023 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Sunny Lane Funeral Home, 4000 SE 29th Street, Del City, OK 73115, followed by a funeral service at 2:00 PM in the Sunny Lane Chapel.
