

He was an accomplished pilot owning his own plane for many years and was an avid gardener who enjoyed growing vegetables, especially tomatoes. He was a jack of all trades who could fix anything. Boyd proudly served as a U.S. Marine in Korea. After earning his degree, he worked as an electrical service engineer for Westinghouse for 40 years, traveling the world.
He was preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Beryl, Melford, Delmer Tosh and Betty Woods. Survivors include his wife of 57years, Nedra; children, Leanna Geyer (Phil), Sheila Graves (Russell), Sheryl Burrell (Rick); grandchildren, Jeremy Brown (Jaime), Jason Brown, Jennifer Morgan (Andy), Kyle Denson, Jonathan and Lizzy Graves, Philip Geyer; great-grandchildren, Jayden, Dylan, and Sylas Brown; a host of sisters and brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, great and great-great nieces and nephews, life-long friends, neighbors and his little Chihuahua, Lexie.
The family will be receiving guests from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, May 29, 2013 at Bill Eisenhour Southeast. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, May 30, 2013 at the Bill Eisenhour Southeast Chapel. Interment will follow at Arlington Memory Gardens.
