Carolyn Ann Collins of Oklahoma City, OK passed away on Tuesday, May 22, 2018 at the age of 75. Carolyn was a private person who enjoyed being a homemaker and raising her children. She also liked to go shopping. Carolyn loved animals, and would always stop to pet them when she saw them out with their owner. Because of her love for her dogs, she made donations to animal charities. She was also the bookeeper for the family’s Home Building Company. Carolyn enjoyed gardening and planning landscapes. She had an eye for well-groomed lawns everywhere she went. She enjoyed good food, looking at recipes, and clipping and saving her favorites. Carolyn kept a well decorated and tidy home, which meant a lot to her. She is preceded in death by her husband Ronald O. Collins of Bethany, OK and her parents, Ernest & Esther Frolich of Oklahoma City, OK. She is survived by her son, Ryan Collins and wife Earlene of Little Rock, AR; daughters, Celina Abernathy of Oklahoma City, OK and Alicia Karrenbrock and husband Kenneth of Kingfisher, OK; 8 grandchildren, Brandon Collins, Jordon Davis, Jenniffer McCrory, Kate Abernathy, Jack Abernathy, Ariel Pitts, Lakyn Karrenbrock, and Karli Karrenbrock; 7 great-grandchildren; brother, Paul Frolich and wife Willa Mae Frolich; sister, Jean Chesnut and husband Sam of Oklahoma City, OK along with their children and families. At the request of the family, private services will be held and in lieu of flowers they ask that donations be made to the Humane Society of Central OK. Arrangements are under the care of Bill Eisenhour Southeast Funeral Home in Del City, OK.
