Carolyn Sue Davis, 65-year-old resident of Del City, OK, passed away Friday, May 7, 2010 in Midwest City, OK. Born January 28, 1945 in Chandler she was a longtime resident of the Del City area moving here in 1973. She loved reading, cooking, camping, and attending all of her grandchildren's sporting events. Carolyn was a merchandiser who sold health and beauty aids. Survivors include her husband, Floyd Davis of the home; 2 sons, Phil Davis and wife Kimberly of Choctaw, OK; Glen Davis and wife Karen of Harrah, OK; 6 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; 2 brothers, Jim Holmes of Harrah, OK; Jack Holmes of Yukon, OK; 3 sisters, Marge Mattocks of Del City, OK; Jean Wiehl of Midwest City, OK; Debbie Cole of Pauls Valley, OK; and a number of nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, May 11, 2010 at Bill Eisenhour Southeast Chapel with Reverend Randy Pratt officiating. Burial will follow at Rossville Cemetery in Lincoln County, OK. A dinner for family & friends will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 11, 2010 at Eastland Hills Baptist Church at 3000 S. Hiwasse Road in Choctaw, Oklahoma.
