She passed away unexpectedly on March 14, 2014. Catherine was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Garland Wayne Bell, Sr,; two brothers,
John Henry and Butchie Barber; sister, Christine Gray; and a granddaughter, Destiney Bell. She is survived by two daughters, LaRena Bell and April
Greenhaw; two sons, Garland Wayne Bell, Jr., and Troy Bell; two brothers, Charles and Joseph Barber, and a sister, Rena Nickles; ten grandchildren,
ten great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews and extended relatives.
