Charles Alexander Pate, 88, passed away April 13, 2014 in Oklahoma City, OK. He was born November 4, 1925 in Byars, OK to Robert Franklin Pate and Melissa Jane Bounds. He married Anna Lee Wagner on October 29, 1948 in Oklahoma City. They had two children. Charles was in the Navy during World War II. Charles then worked at Tinker Air Force Base as a mechanic and retired after 27 years. In addition, he retired from Mid-Del school systems after 15 years. He enjoyed spending time with family, fishing and hunting.
Charles is survived by: One daughter, Jeannie Artis of OKC; one son, Timmy Pate of OKC; two grandchildren: Leeann Taylor and husband Danny of OKC, George Artis Jr. of Midwest City, OK; three Great-Grandchildren: Emilee, Brayden and Brooklyn Taylor; one sister, Betty Robinson of OKC. He is preceded in death by his love of 61 years Anna Lee Pate.
