Charles graduated from Crooked Oak High School in 1956 and attended college at Central State. He worked at Tinker Air Force Base as a Jet Engine Mechanic until his retirement in 1993. Charlie enjoyed golf, reading his Bible, deer hunting, fishing, wood working and watching the OKC Thunder.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, James Taylor. Survivors include his loving wife of 53 years, Lovenia; children, Tammy Francis and husband, Craig, Craig Taylor; grandchildren, Kelly Wilson and husband, Justin, Taylor Rhude, Tyler and Ashleigh Francis, Cody Taylor, Jacob Revel and Jett Taylor; two great-grandsons, Eames Wilson and Owen Godfrey; sister, Zetha Clark; and many family members and friends who will miss him dearly.
Charlie was a member and deacon of Bethlehem Primitive Baptist Church where his service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, May 9, 2015. Condolences may be offered at www.eisenhourfuneral.com
