He was preceded in death by his parents, Jenny and Harry of New Haven, Connecticut; son David; grandsons Shanta, LeShan, and Shantore (Froggy).
He is survived by his wife of many years Annie Weston; sons Thomas and Charles; daughters Brenda, Patricia (Chee-Chee), and Doreen; grandchildren Valdenia, Tammy, Tonya, Shartel, Riquee, Tina, Tiffany, Shi'Meen, ZaKee, Freedom, Theresa (Stinky), and Shelly; great-grandchildren ShiMeara, Chutai, Dominique, Robbie, Richie, Diontae, Miles, Infiniti, Camden, Kymauni, Shaikoda, Tashon, Alexis, Cherish and Jailani; and great-great-grandchildren Elijah, Isaiah, Kyler, Jacee, Rowdy, Leilani, Layhauna, Ariauna, Tasjanay, Terri, Richard Jr., and Tyson; and a host of many more Great and Great Great Grandchildren...
