

Charles Wayne Williams, Sr.
, also known as “Charlie Tuna”, passed from this life to the next on February 14, 2010.
He is preceded in death by his parents; Charles Edgar Williams and Opal Lee Williams.
He was born February 22, 1945 at Tipton, Oklahoma, and grew up around southwest Oklahoma.
He served in the military as an army medic and then worked as an auto mechanic until his retirement, never missing more than a few days of work in his entire career.
He faithfully and dutifully raised four children, instilling the qualities of hard work, discipline, and perseverance. His loyalty and “never quit” attitude will be carried forth in the hearts of his children and his children’s children.
During his latter years, his relationship with his Lord matured and deepened and in his last days, he waited for the Lord as one waits for a good friend.
Charles leaves behind four children: Lisa Rankin and husband Guy Rankin of Oklahoma City, Robbie Latta and friend Lindsey Smith, Charles Williams, Jr. and wife Barbie of Altus, and Opal Collins of Clinton; grandchildren: Dustin Walker, Amy Nash, Kassy (Gardilla) Williams, James Williams, Michael Sedlacek, and Shelby Lowther. He also leaves behind beloved friend David Collins and his children: Devona, Jevin, and Tori.
Funeral Services will be held on Friday, February 19, 2010 at 2:00 PM in the Bill Eisenhour Southeast Chapel
