Christina “Tina” Lorene Hoelscher Linthicum April 19, 1928 Oklahoma City, OK - April 25, 2019 Del City, OK

God blessed our family with the presence and beautiful life of Christina “Tina” Lorene Hoelscher Linthicum. This sweet soul earned her heavenly wings April 25th and went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Floyd and Edith Grace were waiting alongside Him with open arms. Tina was the eldest of eight children born to Elmer Clyde Hoelscher (1907 – 1998) & Betty Lucille Cooper Hoelscher (1912 1997). As a child she was known as “Chrissy” to her Grandmother Hoelscher. “Grandmother” is her endearing name to her granddaughters, great grandchildren & great great granddaughter. She married the love of her life Floyd Wendell Linthicum on June 14, 1947 and brought two beautiful daughters’ into this world, Linda Lorene and Edith Grace. A full life of Christian faith, she retired from the Oklahoma Insurance Commissions in 1997. While living in Del City since her marriage, she currently resided at Wellington Assisted Living Center there, remaining active and making many cherished friends. Tina will be remembered for her beautiful smile, sweet laughter, generous heart, loving spirit, spirited nature, lip stick, high heels, pretty hair, Easter sunrise breakfasts at Lincoln Park, sticks of gum in church to quiet the little ones, peek-a-boo eggs, humbleness and sharing Christ’s love daily with everyone in everything she did among so many other positive things. She was a pillar of strength to her family; a precious mother, daughter, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She is a member of Del City’s First Southern Baptist Church having led many to join her throughout the years. She made a profound and positive difference in so many lives. She is and always will be deeply loved and cherished by her family and friends and she will be sorely missed. An angel smiles down on us today. Tina was preceded in death by her beloved husband Floyd (1921- 1981), her infant daughter Edith Grace who passed away at birth (1951), her parents, her grandparents Herman Hoelscher & Emily Pearce Hoelscher and William Cooper & Lela Dodgen Cooper; sisters Norma Leoma Frantz, Betty Jean Etherton & Phyllis Kay Hoelscher and brother Ronnie Clyde Hoelscher. Edward Burnett

April 29, 2019

On behalf of the "Burnett" family we want to give our sincere condolences to the family and extended family of Lorene Linthicum. For years, we lived just two doors down from the Linthicum's and later on my Grandparents (The Williams) moved in right next door. The Linthicum's were always very kind to our family. I remember both of them at Church and how much they loved the lord. It is with a peaceful heart knowing they both are together again.

Heaven has definitely welcomed another great one.

Sincerely

Edward Burnett, Anne Burnett, Kimberly Burnett & extended family
