At an early age, Chris accepted Christ and was baptized. Chris attended Paradise Baptist Church and Faith Fellowship Church with his parents and two younger sisters. As an adult, he became a member of Life Church and The Church Triumphant.
Chris attended Douglass High School in Oklahoma City and graduated in 1993. After graduating high school, Chris went on to attend Barber school. He began his career as a barber and later worked at Tinker Air Force Base.
He was a loving son, brother, uncle, nephew and friend. A quiet- spirited man, who enjoyed fishing, traveling, spending time with his family & hanging out with friends. He was a car enthusiast who enjoyed remodeling older cars. Chris was a kind-hearted person, full of life and love, with a vibrant smile.
Chris is preceded in death by his mother Ruth E. Williams.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his father, Vernal S. Williams; two daughters, Siarra and Malone Williams; two sisters, DeAnna (Gerald) Ogola and LaTanya (Nolan Jr.) Pinkney; grandson, Cornelius Williams and a soon-to-arrive granddaughter, Jordan Williams; nieces, NaTalyia, Angeline, Nilah; nephews, Bryce, Jeremiah, Nolan III; a host of loving uncles, aunts, cousins and devoted friends.
Chris will truly be missed. Our family was blessed to experience life with him and we will ensure that his legacy will continue on through us. There aren't enough words sufficient to express the magnitude of this loss to our family, but our faith in God and our love for Chris will be our guiding light until we meet again. We love you!
2 Timothy 4:7-8
I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Now, there is in store for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day—and not only to me, but also to all who have longed for his appearing.
