

Born on July 12, 1930, in Wewoka, Oklahoma, Colleen was the daughter of Chris and Ethel Mae Loman (née Halk). She graduated from Butner High School, where she was a standout basketball player — a sport she loved throughout her life. She remained an avid fan, cheering on the Oklahoma City Thunder with great enthusiasm.
Colleen was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 65 years, Leroy Fowler; her son, Bobby Fowler; her grandson, Chad Fowler; her siblings Earl Loman, Joe Ralph Loman, Leroy "Curley" Loman, Calvin Loman, and Haskell Loman; and her dear sister and best friend, Ona Jean Loman.
She is survived by her son, Richard Fowler, and his wife, Vicky; her grandsons, Rick Fowler, Jacob Fowler, Collin Fowler, and Brian Fowler; and her cherished great-grandchildren: Shaun, Sarah, Camron, Dakota, Katelyn, Jackson, Sam, Reagan, Cooper, Remy, Luna, Logan, Bella Rose, Parker, and John Fowler. She is also survived by her great-great-grandchildren: Nailaya Avery, Kaitly Rubey, and Chad Oliver Fowler. Colleen was a beloved aunt to many nieces and nephews.
Colleen enjoyed a long and fulfilling career as a court clerk for the City of Del City, where she was deeply loved and respected by her colleagues. She was a passionate gardener and talented cook, but above all, she was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.
A memorial service will be held at Bill Eisenhour Funeral Home at Sunny Lane Cemetery on Thursday, June 19, at 10:00 a.m. Visitation will occur from 4-8pm Wednesday, June 18 at Bill Eisenhour Funeral Home at Sunny Lane Cemetery.
