Curtis Herman Johnson

Curtis Herman Johnson, 85, passed away on July 5, 2012. Curtis was born on August 18, 1926 in Buffalo Gap, TX to Quay Miller and Florence Gertrude (Haywood) Johnson. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy during WWII and enjoyed tinkering, playing dominoes, camping and jeeping in Colorado.

Curtis was preceded in death by his parents; first and second wives, Eva Johnson and Norma Smith; siblings, Odie, J.W., Clarence, Elaine and Mildred; grandson, Terry David Johnson. Survivors include his wife, Wanda; children, Vicky Moomey (Daryl), Danny Johnson (Barbara), Ricky Johnson (Peggy); sisters, Lela Mae Anderson and Maggie Copeland; step children, Diana Mills (Charlie), Larry Shropshire (Lanette), Donna Graham (Larry); Grandchildren, Timothy Moomey (Amy), Brian Johnson (Michelle); 12 step-grandchildren, Christopher Mills, Carrie Harris (Dan), Blake, Bryce, Katlyn and Morgan Shropshire, Andrea and Jason Beaty, Resa Mansfield (Randy), Rhonda Haney (Alan), Steve Orr; great-grandchildren, Motley Moomey, Layne Moomey, Destiny Moomey, Tiara Moomey, Jacob Johnson; step-great grandchildren, William Clapp, Kristen Wilson, Amber Darakhshan, Shawna Smith, Kathryn Mansfield.

Visitation will held for from 8:00 a.m. o 8:00 p.m. Saturday, July 7, 2012 and Sunday, July 8, 2012 from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, July 9, 2012 at the Bill Eisenhour Southeast Funeral Home.
