Danny Kevin Harbison

Danny Kevin Harbison, 65, of Bethel Acres, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully on July 27, 2026.

Born on August 5, 1960, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Danny was the cherished son of Billy Ray and Lura Lee (Bassham) Harbison. He was raised in Del City, Tuttle, and Choctaw, Oklahoma.

On February 27, 1983, Danny married the love of his life, Vickie. Together, they shared 43 wonderful years of marriage, building a home and a devoted family that remained the heart of his world.

Following 25 years of dedicated civil service at Tinker Air Force Base, Danny earned a well-deserved retirement.

Truly one of a kind, Danny was often the life of the party—always ready with an unexpected comment or a clever trick just to make people laugh. Stubborn, unapologetically himself, and endlessly entertaining, he loved his music and was famous for his beloved "stuff." Anyone who knew Danny knew he was rarely seen without his satchel or something interesting tucked into one of his many pockets. You never quite knew what he might pull out—or what he might say next—and that unpredictable charm was precisely what made Danny so Danny.

Danny was happiest on the water. It didn’t matter which lake it was; as long as he had a boat and a fishing pole, he was content. He also enjoyed hitting the golf course, shooting pool, and settling in for a competitive game of cards or dominoes.

Above all else, Danny treasured his time with his family and grandchildren. During the holidays, he loved nothing more than sitting on the porch, watching the cattle, and checking out the show pigs. Whether he was playing cornhole with the grandkids, gathering everyone around, or simply sharing stories, those simple togetherness moments meant everything to him.

Danny was a husband, father, Pops, brother, and friend. The place he held in his family will live on through the stories they tell, the laughter they share, and the memories they carry.

Danny was preceded in death by his parents, Billy Ray and Lura Lee Harbison, and his brother, Darrell Ray Harbison.

He is survived by his wife, Vickie Harbison; his daughter, Ashley Seaborn and her husband, Robert; his son, Kevin Harbison and his wife, Susie; and his cherished grandchildren: Kennedy (and husband Trey), Presley, Wyatt, Rhett, Kanasha, Harley, Camdyn, and Huntley. He also leaves behind a large extended family and countless friends who will miss him deeply.

Services

Visitation: Tuesday, August 4, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Bill Eisenhour Funeral Home Chapel (4000 SE 29th Street, Del City, OK 73115).

Funeral Service: Tuesday, August 4, 2026, beginning at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel.

Interment: Following the service at Sunnylane Cemetery in Del City, Oklahoma.
