David Paul Davis was born on August 4, 1946, in Bennington, Oklahoma to Henry and Emma Davis. He graduated from South East High School in 1965. He joined the Air Force in June 1965. He served in Vietnam and was honorably discharged on a medical release in September 1966 as an Airman Third Class.
He attended Central State College in Edmond, Oklahoma where he made the Dean’s Honor Roll.
He worked alongside his dad at Henry Davis & Sons, as a carpenter building homes for 60 years.
He worked on the Davis Family Farm raising cattle and farming. He loved working with cattle and being on the farm.
He loved listening to country music, especially Toby Keith, and reading his bible. He was a true believer in Christ.
He is preceded in death by his sister, Karin Southern, father, Henry Davis, and mother, Emma Davis.
He is survived by his sister Bettie Palmer and husband Carroll, sister Roma McCormack and husband Bill, niece Tashonda Mejia and husband Ray, niece Carissa Mosley and husband Wayne, nephew Ryan Southern, great nephew Cain Southern and wife Grace, great niece Kylie Southern, great niece Chloie Southern, great nephew Cullen Phillips and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
